This partnership teaches us a lot about the high-end segment so we can make the best tyres possible. A big challenge, but also a great opportunity.

Find out why Michelin and Porsche have been collaborating on premium vehicle design since 1961.
Getting behind the wheel of a Porsche is an experience that transcends driving. To unleash the power of their cars on the road and track, Porsche needs the highest performance tyres. So Porsche works with Michelin to bring sports car design to the next level.
Designing amazing premium performance cars means that everything has to be in perfect alignment. We work with Porsche's teams from the bottom up, engineering tyres that react perfectly with the chassis. It allows Porsche to optimise for the tyre design and create that legendary Porsche driving experience.
That's why some of Porsche's vehicles exclusively use MICHELIN. The 918 Spyder, Cayenne, Panamera and the new Macan all feature our tyres. Their drivers and teams rely on MICHELIN for their biggest endurance races, like the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the World Endurance Championship and the Nürburgring VLN Endurance Racing Championship. The hardware has to be strictly uncompromising to deliver the results that Porsche's teams demand.

The Carrera GT super car was substantially improved with MICHELIN® Pilot® Super Sport tires. Handling is more precise, lap times are faster, and the overall driving experience is better.
The 911 GT3 R Hybrid is a force to be reckoned with on the track, leading the 2010 Nürburgring 24-hour race for more than nine hours. Its superior technology allowed it to go a full lap more than the non-hybrid opponents before refueling, with the MICHELIN tires handily withstanding the longer distance.
With MICHELIN Total Performance, our tyres deliver the multiple characteristics that high-performing cars need to reach their full potential – on the track or on the road.
