I recently bought Agilis 205/65R15, The Rubber is stronger than Energy XM2. Also the side walls are stronger. My first choice was for Energy XM2, But after consulting with the dealer. Then checking both the tyres, I went for Agilis. The dealer claimed they have longer life as compared to XM2. They do look more sturdy for our roads. XM2 would have been very soft and very comfortable. Earlier, I had faced the Same problem with Michelin Soft Rubber tyres. They just could not stand our roads. The side wall was damaged and Very Often they got puncture. So finally thought of getting Agilis, I think they are better designed for our roads.
